Martin's Super Markets is now a supporter of the Kids Cook Monday initiative. This initiative encourages families to cook and eat together - the more frequently, the better! There have been numerous studies with evidence that links family dinners to healthier life choices. Research has shown that kids who eat family dinners regularly get better grades in school and are less likely to be obese.
The Kids Cook Monday website offers a library of recipes that are easy for the whole family to follow. They break up the recipe into appropriate tasks for children, adults, and/or tasks to complete together. Their website also offers great conversational starters for the dinner table!
