It’s a New Year for new routines and new ways to eat healthy! Breakfast is the first and most important meal of the day! You have to feed your brain and body so you can do your best in school and all your activities. This Chewy Bar can help fuel your body, at least until lunchtime! This is a simple snack with only a couple whole ingredients which means they are super easy to make at home for the week!
1 cup Medjool dates (find them in the Produce Market)
1/2 cup peanut butter
small food processor
First, combine dates and peanut butter in the food processor and puree until mixture sticks together. Pick up mixture and squeeze together into a big ball. Mash down flat on a cutting board to form an even and flat rectangle. Slice into 8 even squares and you’re done! Now you have an easy breakfast snack ready to go and you can even share with your mom and dad!
