Salmon is a verstile fish, loaded with heart healthy omega 3's, that can be a part of your quick meal solution. My recipe below for teriyaki salmon is out of this world delicious. The teriyaki sauce recipe is super easy, however, its flavor is by no means lacking!

Baked Teriyaki Salmon, 4 servings
4 salmon filets, 6 oz. each
1/2 cup low sodium soy sauce
1 cup 100% pineapple juice
1/2 Tbsp. garlic powder
1/2 Tbsp. ground ginger
1/2 Tbsp. dry mustard
1/2 tsp. pepper
1/4 cup brown sugar

Place soy sauce, pineapple juice, brown sugar and seasonings into a blender and blend for a few minutes until well blended. Marinate salmon filets for 30 minutes. Bake at 400 degrees for 15 minutes or until salmon is opaque all the way through.

Try pairing your teriyaki salmon with a steamable broccoli and baked Idaho potato!

Be Well,

Kristin
